Booking

As there are many activities going on in the castle and as the castle guides are not permanent employees but work per assignment, a booking cannot be guaranteed until it is confirmed.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of specific rooms, this may change from tour to tour. Other activities may be taking place in other parts of the castle at the same time as the tour.

During the weeks 26-32 it is not possible to pre-book tours during regular opening hours. Groups are offered to pay admission (group discount available) and can then visit the castle on their own. However, tours can be booked before and after closing time.

Cancellation

For booked and confirmed guided tours, SEK 375 (incl. 25% VAT) will be charged in case of cancellation. Cancellation must be made no later than seven days before the tour, otherwise the full price will be charged.

Rebooking

If a rebooking is made after a confirmed booking, a rebooking fee of SEK 375 (incl. 25% VAT) will be charged. A change of date, time, concept and number of people is considered a rebooking if this means a change in the number of guides required. Notification of the number of participants must be made no later than three days before the tour. As long as the number does not affect the number of guides, no rebooking fee is charged.

Late or no-show

In case of delay, the guide will wait for the group for 30 minutes. The tour is thus shortened, so the end time is the same. If the entire tour is to be completed despite late arrival, there is a charge for the extra hour. However, this cannot be guaranteed, but is done if possible by agreement with the guide. If the group has not arrived after 30 minutes, the tour will be canceled and the full amount will be charged.

Interrupted viewing

The guide always has the right to cancel a tour if all or part of the group behaves in a way that negatively affects the arrangement or that is contrary to Örebrokompaniets values. If the tour is canceled for this reason, the full price will be charged.

Payment

Payment is made by card or Swish in the castle shop in connection with the viewing. If invoicing is desired, an invoice fee of SEK 100(incl. 25% VAT) will be added. Invoicing is not done to private individuals or to companies registered in countries other than Sweden.
