The Engelbrekt Room

In the southeast tower of the castle is the Engelbrektsrummet, which offers a historical experience of the life of Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson. The Engelbrektsrummet was created when the towers were raised in 1897-1900 and got its current interior in 1928. It was created to be the governor's office and was then given a specially designed furniture that is still intact today.

The room is suitable for events such as weddings, smaller meeting rooms and dinners for smaller parties. The Engelbrekt Room can only be rented separately if the Hall of State is unbooked.
