Explore the castle! Discover the castle and its exciting history with a 40-minute tour included in your entrance ticket. Register on site in the Castle Shop and then let yourself be swept up in stories about Örebro’s magnificent castle. Welcome inside!


Times for guided tours

June 24 August 11:
Daily at. 11AM, 1PM and 4PM in Swedish, and 12PM and 2:30PM in English.

August 12 – September 1:
Daily at. 11:30AM, 1PM and 3PM.

700 years of stories

Both royal history and exciting stories have been written at Örebro Castle, and perhaps even more have been told. At the castle, which dates back to the 14th century, you will find stories about historical characters such as Engelbrekt, Gustav Vasa, Lasse-Maja and Jean Baptiste Bernadotte, to name just a few celebrities who have crossed paths with the castle.
