In 2023 it will be 500 years since Gustav Vasa was chosen as King of Sweden. A historic year which will be marked in the whole country, and also in Örebro Castle. On the anniversary itself, 6 June, we inaugurate ‘Gustav Vasa talar ur skägget’, an exhibition about power in the castle. The exhibition will be showing daily between 6 June and 17 September and is included in the admission ticket to the castle.
In addition to the exhibition there is also the possibility to challenge one another in Vasakampen (The Vasa challenge), and to join a guided viewing of Vasa’s Castle. Children should not of course miss visiting Laban the Little Ghost who now lives in the children’s Vasa tower! A whole lot of fun and mischief is promised.
