Guided tour at the Biological Museum

Book your own guide for your group

Just a stone's throw from the the castle is Karolinska High School, a school dating back to the 14th century. In the northernmost building—aptly named "Siberia"—you'll find the school's biological museum.

The museum opened its doors in 1864, and today it gives us a cool peek into what school museums used to be like. Inside, you'll discover tons of stuffed mammals, like moose, deer, and lynx. Plus, there are loads of birds and their eggs, mussels, shells, fish, snakes, and insects. And every single fact is super carefully documented!

The Biological Museum is only open to the public during the height of summer and the fall break (week 44). So a guided tour is a particularly unique experience.
