Engelbrekt room

In the southeast tower of the castle is the Engelbrekt Room, which offers a historical experience about the life of Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson. The Engelbrekt Room was created when the towers were raised in 1897-1900 and was given its current layout in 1928. It was created to be the governor’s office and was given specially designed furniture that is still intact today.

The room is suitable for events such as weddings, small meeting rooms and dinners for smaller groups. The Engelbrektsrummet can only be rented separately if the Rikssalen is unbooked.
